*Leaving a room? The practice of turning off lights or TV when not in use has been used as an energy-saving measure for some time now. Some studies that suggest using energy efficient lights are far more effective than just turning them off. In addition to turning off your lights, you may want to consider using sensors, timers or automatic lighting controls to save energy
*Eliminating your paper trail by banking and paying your bills online does more than just save the trees! It helps reduce fuel consumption used to transport paper bills and checks. If every home paid bills online, it could cut solid waste by 1.6 billion tons a year.
